It can be a tough problem if you need to edit your PDF file, but can't remember the password to it. It wouldn't became a problem if you used a good password recovery tool though. This article will help you figure out how to recover user and owner passwords for a PDF file

Download and Install a program

Download and install Recover PDF Password. You can use  demo or a licensed version (e.g. Personal license costs $ 39,95).

Warnings

  • if you are using DEMO, pay attention that the recovered password will only have 3 first symbols visible.

Open, select and try

  • Open Recover PDF Password, choose a protected PDF file and select the recovery method:
  • you can search by password length
  • if you know some symbols of the password, try the search by template - it can save your time.
